Swedish Massage at Yes SPA is the gentlest of our six services. Long flowing strokes warm the tissue, the rhythm stays slow, and pressure sits in the light-to-medium range throughout the session. This is the right pick when you want to unwind without targeting a specific knot — first-time spa guests, weekly self-care regulars, late-night unwinders, and anyone whose goal is calm rather than therapeutic release.
The technique is the international standard for relaxation-focused massage. Effleurage (gliding strokes), petrissage (gentle kneading), and slow circular motions cover the back, shoulders, arms, legs, and neck in a continuous rhythm. Most guests describe the experience as deeply settling rather than work-focused.
Who Swedish Massage is for
Pick Swedish if any of these match your situation. You are a first-time spa guest who wants a forgiving introduction to professional massage. You want gentle relaxation rather than firmer therapeutic work. You bruise easily or have sensitive tissue. You are coming in the evening before sleep and want a session that helps you drop into rest mode. You are pairing the session with a busy Vegas day and need restoration rather than recovery from a specific issue.
Swedish is not the right pick if you have a specific painful knot that has been bothering you for weeks — for that, our Stress Relief session with firmer focused pressure is the better match. If you want the warm aromatic oil experience, try Hot Oil Aroma instead.
What a 60-minute Swedish session covers
The therapist starts face-down at your back — about 25 to 30 minutes of long flowing strokes warm the back, shoulders, neck, arms, and the back of the legs. The pressure stays even and gentle. After the turnover, another 25 to 30 minutes work the front of the legs, the arms, the head, and finishes with light strokes that settle you completely. By the end most guests describe a deeply quiet body and slowed breathing.
30-minute Swedish sessions focus on either upper body (back, shoulders, neck, arms) or lower body (legs, feet, calves) — you choose at check-in. The gentle rhythm makes the shorter session feel calmer than a 30-minute Stress Relief because nothing is being pushed.

Why Swedish works for the Las Vegas pace
Las Vegas trips and shifts produce a specific kind of tiredness — on your feet too long, sleeping in hotel beds, dehydrated by desert air. Swedish Massage addresses this general fatigue without targeting any specific zone. The whole-body coverage lets the body relax evenly, the gentle pressure keeps the nervous system in rest mode, and most guests sleep noticeably deeper the night of the session.
Many of our regulars alternate between Swedish weeks (general restoration) and Stress Relief weeks (specific tension release). The variety serves the body better than always picking one. Same flat $60 for 30 minutes or $80 for 60 minutes, every visit.
What to expect when you walk in
Front desk asks duration and confirms Swedish. You pay up front, simple flat rate. Therapist walks you to a private room with a closing door, soft warm lighting, and a fresh-sheeted table. They step out while you undress to your comfort level. Sheets cover everything not currently being worked. Therapist knocks before re-entering, and the session begins. Total visit including check-in is about 75 minutes for a 60-minute Swedish session.
The local angle
Most Swedish Massage regulars at Yes SPA drive in from one of these Las Vegas valley areas: The Strip, Downtown Las Vegas, Chinatown, Paradise, Spring Valley, Summerlin, Henderson, Westside, and Sunrise Manor.
